New Clocks Available from Adelbrook

Every year aroud this time, wholesalers and manufacturers release their new ranges of products. This year, we looked through the ranges of all of our existing suppliers and took a look at a number of new ones.
The one range which really stood out from all others was the range from London Clock Company. London Clock Company have a background in design, so we always see some extra special products, but this years was something different. They really excelled themselves.

LCC have always being strong in making pendulum wall clocks, however over the last few years, have really tied together a fantastic range of modern pendulum clocks. This year their range involved to include a number of new pendulum clocks, but also included some of their best selling pendulum clocks. The following clock has easily been our best selling pendulum clock, if not the best selling clock of all time (we've sold thousands) : http://www.adelbrook.com/clocks-c1/wall-clocks-c3/london-clock-company-sleek-black-pendulum-clock-p761

Over the last month, we've been taking delivery of their new range and have been adding it to our website. Why not take a look at their range: http://www.adelbrook.com/london-clock-company-m14#sort7

We also took a look at a new brand, we've never stocked before called Oliver Hemming. The brand seems to have a pretty diverse background in not just clocks but kitchen products. Sadly the people we're buying from only sell his range of clocks. We've just released his range of alloy alarm clocks, which at 360 grams in weight feel really good quality. The weight comes from the quality alloy plated case and the watch quality mineral glass face. They're unlike anything we've ever seen before. They're on the pricey side, but we're sure they'll be a really good range. With the Olympic Games and the Diamond Jubilee, we've had quite a lot of interested in the Union Jack and RAF Alarm Clocks.

For the moment, we're only stocking the alloy cased alarm clocks, however in the coming months we're going to be stocking the much cheaper acrlylic case clocks as well as all the wall clocks. Keep an eye for developments: http://www.adelbrook.com/oliver-hemming-m42#:page1:sort7

Oliver Hemming Designer Profile

Born in Kenya in 1959 Oliver Hemming spent his childhood and went to school in the English countryside. Later as a teenager he lived in London and went to St Paul’s school and then on to art school in Oxford and Leicester. Studying 3D Design and Silversmithing he won several design competitions including the Johnson Mathey Silver Award in 1982 and a Bursary from the Royal Society of Arts.

On graduating from college he opened his own Silversmithing studio and worked mainly on private commissions. In 1985 he started the brand “Ziro”, making contemporary clocks and watches. Ziro became very influential in the development of contemporary clock design and by 1995 Ziro employed about 50 people in two factories in the UK and USA, making around 350,000 pieces a year with exports to over 35 countries. The business was sold in 1998 and Oliver took the opportunity to take a 2-year sabbatical.

Now living with his family in Hong Kong, Oliver has started a new business and has put together this focused, yet diverse collection. Working in his own factory again he exports his work all over the world and his designs are widely regarded as being distinctive, innovative and uniquely differentiated.
